Wedding Photographer

Hello, I'm Carmen

I’m usually the one fixing dresses, keeping things running on time, and quietly catching moments as they happen without making a big thing of it.

Most couples book me because they don’t want their day to feel staged or constantly interrupted, they just want to enjoy it and trust that it’s being captured properly.

MY APPROACH

I’m a Manchester wedding photographer, working across Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshirem, North west and I also travel throughout England & Wales.

I photograph weddings in a very natural way. Nothing overly posed, nothing forced. Just real moments as they happen, and a calm presence in the background so you can actually enjoy your day.

Most couples tell me they don’t really want to spend loads of time away from their guests posing for photos and honestly, I get it.

So my approach is pretty relaxed and candid. I’ll gently guide you when needed (especially for couple photos so you’re not standing there feeling awkward), but most of the day I’m just watching and capturing things as they unfold.

It’s the hugs between your parents as they watch you get married. The way your grandparents quietly relive their own memories during your vows. The chaos of the little ones running around on the dance floor. Your friends absolutely losing it during speeches. And all the small, in-between moments you didn’t even realise were happening.

That’s what I’m there for.

WHAT IT’S LIKE

ON THE DAY…

From the morning prep right through to the dance floor later on, I’m there in a really calm, hands on, but in the background kind of way.

During bridal prep, it’s usually a mix of quiet moments, excitement, and a bit of chaos. I’ll be there capturing it all as it unfolds, helping when needed, and making sure nothing feels rushed or staged.

During the ceremony, I’m completely unobtrusive. I’ll move quietly in the background, focusing on reactions just as much as the main moments, the nerves before you walk in, the way your families look at you, and everything in between.

For portraits, I’ll gently guide you so you’re not standing there thinking “what do we do with our hands?”, but I won’t overdo it. It’ll feel relaxed, quick, and still very much like you.

Then into the reception, speeches and dance floor, I’m mostly just watching everything unfold. That’s where the real energy is, the laughter, the reactions, the chaos, and the moments nobody planned but everyone remembers.

It’s not a staged version of your day. It’s just your day, as it actually happens, I want to tell your love story exactly how it deserves to be told.

A bit about me (non-photography stuff)

hen I’m not photographing weddings, I’m usually in full mum mode with my two little ones, juggling snacks, chaos, and everything in between. Life’s busy, messy, and never really slows down but I wouldn’t change it.

I love getting out when I can though, travelling, exploring new places, finding good food spots, or just having a slow day doing nothing at all. I’m a big fan of balance… even if it doesn’t always happen.

Most of my downtime is pretty simple: family days, films, a bit of creativity, and trying to catch my breath between everything else because life is BUSY

It’s that mix of chaos and calm that keeps me grounded, and it’s probably why I approach weddings the way I do, relaxed, real, and focused on the moments that actually matter.
